Psycho-somatic therapist
Farah Bernard

I work at the intersection of psychology, the nervous system, and the body.
My approach is rooted in the understanding that our experiences are not only stored as memories or thoughts, but as somatic imprints patterns held in the body, in the breath, and in the way we respond to life.
Stress, trauma, and emotional experiences shape our internal world over time. Not just in what we think, but in how we feel, move, and relate to ourselves and others.
My work focuses on helping people understand these patterns, not only intellectually, but through direct experience in the body.
To release what has been held, and to integrate what the body is still carrying.
Over time, I’ve come to see that the body doesn’t just store our history it also holds a deep intelligence.
It reveals what still needs to be seen.
What hasn’t been fully felt.
And what is ready to shift.
Because real change doesn’t happen through insight alone.
It happens when the body is included in the process.
My work is trauma-informed, with the body as the primary entry point. From there, I draw on psychology, nervous system work, and practices such as breathwork, movement, and sound to access what is often unconscious and support lasting integration.

Private Practice
In my 1:1 work, I guide individuals through a structured, in-depth process.
We explore the patterns, stories, and imprints that have been shaping your experience, and work with them at their root. Creating space for the body to process, regulate, and reorganise.
This work supports:
• nervous system regulation
• understanding and shifting recurring patterns
• releasing stored tension and emotional imprints
• rebuilding a sense of safety and connection with the body
• reconnecting with your inner signals, creativity, and life force
• accessing clearer direction, self-trust, and grounded leadership
• creating lasting change from the inside out

Alchemia Antwerp
I founded Alchemia as an extension of this work.
A space where these principles become accessible in a collective setting through weekly classes, workshops, and immersive experiences.
At Alchemia, we work with breath, movement, sound, and guided introspection to help people reconnect with their body, build resilience, and develop a more grounded relationship with themselves.
But beyond the practices, Alchemia is about rhythm and consistency. A place to return to.
To regulate, release, and reconnect, again and again.
Because lasting change isn’t created in one session
it’s built through repetition, awareness, and practice over time.
Alchemia is also a space of community.
Where people share experiences, feel supported, and realise they’re not alone in what they’re moving through.
It was created to make this work more accessible
while preserving its depth, and to open the space to other facilitators who bring their own expertise into the collective.
It’s not about quick fixes or surface-level wellbeing.
It’s about creating a consistent practice that supports your nervous system, your energy, and the way you move through life.
